H1
Answer
H1 is reserved for the title of the page. It should describe the page topic and should appear near the top of your document.
In LibGuides and H5P, as long as you haven't added additional H1 to your content, you will only have the one. This H1 is a combination of the guide and page title.
Examples:
Do
- write a descriptive title at the top of your Word documents and assign it as h1.
- tag the title of PDFs with h1.
- Use WAVE or another accessibility extension to surface your page structure and check for errant headings.
Don't
- add h1 to your libguides.
- add h1 to your H5P projects.
- include more than one h1.
