Alumni and alumnae of Northeastern University and Mills College have access to a substantial selection of the Library's online offerings!

Online databases and e-journals:

The RefWorks citation management system is also available from off-campus after you graduate.

Please note that legal agreements for our electronic resources restrict their use to educational purposes only.  

You will continue to use your Northeastern username and password when prompted for access to the online services linked above.  Please visit Northeastern's alumni page to see how to set up your two-factor authentication (2FA) with Duo, if you have not already done so.

Alumni of Mills College and Northeastern University should contact the Northeastern Office of Alumni Relations if they have questions regarding acquiring or locating their NUID number and to learn more about benefits for alumni.

University Archives & Special Collections

Entering Snell Library:

Alumni of Northeastern and alumnae of Mills College have access to the Snell Library in Boston, MA. You can obtain a Northeastern alumni Husky Card, from the Husky Card office at 04 Speare Hall. Alumni with valid Alumni Husky Cards can enter Snell Library until 15 minutes before the end of Library Service Desk Hours. 

Upon completion of the Snell Library renovation, a brand-new Alumni Room will be accessible on the first floor of Snell Library. 

Fill out the Snell Library Privileges Request form to update your Library account to better access electronic materials, borrow physical materials from Snell Library and save search results in Scholar OneSearch.

F. W. Olin Library:

Alumni of Northeastern and alumnae of Mills College have access to the F.W. Olin Library in Oakland, CA. 

To register for borrowing privileges, visit during Library service desk hours and present your AAMC Membership Card + photo ID or your Husky Alumni Card. Members of the Mills College Alumnae Association should email alumni@northeastern.edu to have an NU ID created for them in order to have access to online resources.
