How do I renew Northeastern Library items online?

  1. Log in to your account on Scholar OneSearch, the Library's catalog.
  2. Renew all items, or select a few items to renew
  3. Check the new due dates to confirm that items have been renewed.

Can I renew Library items over the phone?

  • Yes! Call and ask to renew your items:
    • Snell Library (Boston): Call the Help and Information Desk at (617) 373-8778
    • F. W. Olin Library (Oakland): Call the Circulation Desk at (510) 430-2196

Which items are not renewable?

  • Items that have been renewed for the maximum period. Check your borrowing privileges (Boston, Oakland)
  • Items that have been requested by another library user
  • Media items (DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes)
