Question: How do I return books? Last Updated: Apr 03, 2025 Views: 873
Snell Library (Boston)
To return a book in person, bring the book to the Help & Information Desk on the first floor of Snell Library. You can hand the materials to library staff during library service desk hours. There is also a return slot where you can place library materials whenever the library is open even if the desk is closed. Anyone can return a library book borrowed from Snell Library. Books loaned from the School of Law Library can also be returned to Snell Library.
If you need to return books after their due date, or if you are not able to come to campus, you may mail books to:
Book Returns
150 Snell Library
Northeastern University
360 Huntington Avenue
Boston, MA 02115
You will save considerably on postage if you ask the post office to use the book/media rate.
F. W. Olin Library (Oakland)
All items on loan can be returned at the Circulation Desk during open hours.
The book drop to the left of the front doors is available 24/7. All items EXCEPT LPs, CDs, and equipment (chargers, adapters, keys etc) may be returned via the book drop and will be checked in at open the following day.
