Question: Where can I charge my device in F. W. Olin Library (Oakland)? Last Updated: May 20, 2025 Views: 5
Most of the study areas in F. W. Olin library have an outlet at each seat. You may have to look under the desk or table to find it (when it doubt, follow the cord from your task lamp). The exception to this is the comfy seating area on the first floor. There are "power towers" with outlets and USB-A ports that can be moved within the area and floor outlets near each pod of chairs.
Charging cables (USB-A to USB-C, lightning, and microUSB and USB-C to USB-C), wall bricks, and power banks are available for checkout at the circulation desk. Each checks out for 3 hours and can be taken out of the building. All charging implements must be returned to a library staff member or student staff, not via the book drop, before the library closes each day.
