Can I request an article that I cannot access online?

Answer

Yes! Current Northeastern students, faculty and staff can request articles through the library's interlibrary loan service, ILLiad.

Articles are delivered to your email as a PDF link, usually within 1-3 business days.  Books may be picked up at the Snell Library Help and Information Desk (or if you are a law student, the School of Law Library, or if you are on the Oakland Campus, the F. W. Olin Library Circulation Desk.)

There is a registration process the first time you connect to ILLiad.  This service is free of charge.

To learn how to make a request, see our Scholar OneSearch Interlibrary Loan video tutorial or PDF slide tutorial.
