How do I renew my interlibrary loan?

Please note that renewals are granted at the discretion of the lending library. Responses are typically received within 1-2 business days.
- Log into your ILLiad account.
- Once you have logged in, scroll down to Checked Out Items.
- Find the record of the item that you want to renew by your transaction number.
- In the record, select Renew. The Renew button should be dark blue. If the button is greyed out, then the loan is not eligible for renewal.
- You will be directed to the request’s full record page. Select the red Renew Request link. You have successfully requested a renewal for your loan!
If your loan request is not eligible for renewal or your renewal request gets denied by the lending library, and you still need the item, please submit another request.
- Log into your ILLiad account.
- Once you have logged in, scroll down to Checked Out Items.
- Find the record of the item that you want to renew by your transaction number.
- Select Clone Request under Actions.
- You will be directed to the request’s full record page. Select the red Clone Request link. You have successfully cloned your original request and created a new request for your loan!
