Some key things to be aware of when considering a systematic review are:

  • Plan for a timeline of 9-12 months
  • Include a minimum of 2 reviewers.  
  • Search a minimum of 3 databases.  
  • Conduct 2 sets of screening: title/abstract, and full text. 
  • Consult 1 statistician, if you are conducting a meta-analysis.
