- A wide selection of interdisciplinary books from a variety of publishers.
- Includes popular fiction and nonfiction as well as some academic titles.
- Tools include: personal folders, personal notes, suggested citations.
Borrowing
Most E-books in EBSCOhost are currently not available for checkout/downloading in order to make them accessible to as many people at a time as possible for course readings.
- EBSCOhost automatically displays a mobile version of the site when you are on a smartphone. You can download eBooks from the mobile interface.
- Permits printing and saving, usually of a chapter at a time, depending on individual publisher restrictions.
Downloading
EBSCO e-books are compatible with these devices and apps supporting Adobe eBook DRM, a standard used by most popular e-book providers, including Google Play.
Tips:
- If you get a "Sorry, this e-book is in use" message when trying to access full text, try clearing your browser cache. Sometimes this works if someone else is not actually looking at the book at the moment.
- When you are finished reading a book online, you can make it immediately available to other readers by clicking the Result List, New Search, Back, or Exit links in the eBook viewer.
