What is a course reserve?
Answer
Course reserves are a selection of materials that faculty set aside for students who are in their class so that all students have access to the material. A book that is placed on reserve is typically available to be loaned for a 3-hour period, and not to be taken from the library. Some reserves may have different loan periods - you should always check the slip on the inside of the back cover to confirm.
If a patron is interested in using it for more than 3 hours, students can return the loan and recheck it out if no other patron is interested in using it.
