What does it mean if a book is Recalled?
Answer
If a book is recalled, it means that another person has requested it. If someone requests an item you have checked out, a Recall Notice will be issued to you via email. Because library information records are confidential, we cannot reveal the name of the person requesting the item or the name of the person from whom the item is being recalled, even if it is another faculty member.
Recalled items cannot be renewed. Patrons should return recalled items by the due date listed on their account.
