Media Alternative
Answer
Text alternatives for videos (and other synchronized media) can benefit deafblind users who cannot interact with either of the sensory components of videos. They can also benefit users who experience barriers with timed content or content that moves too quickly for them.
Examples:
Do
- plan to include textual alternatives for videos as you plan and create them.
- create, save, and adapt scripts into transcripts and make them available with videos.
- include all important information that occurred visually and in audio
- include other components to the media including quiz questions, etc.
- label speakers.
- labeled the alternative and make it available where the video is.
